Adrian Legge – A Guitarist’s Guitarist

Adrian Legge is not greatly known by the general public but he was voted the best acoustic fingerstyle guitar player in Guitar Player magazine’s poll for the years 1993 to 1996. His technique is a mixture of Travis Picking, string bending and ad hoc retuning of his guitar. His solo appearances leave audiences stunned and his appearances with famous guitar virtuosos has cemented is reputation as a guitar player who involves his audience and fellow musicians in his performances. He has departed from the beaten track on acoustic guitar playing by incorporating synthesisers into his performances.
