		<description>Hey man, gr8 article, I think the internet has a bunch of  information on guitar playing and how to learn at least some basic stuff for free. Just to add on your suggestions above, one thing that has taught me to understand some of the videos on youtube is to understand chord progressions. One approach I think works pretty well when learning to play guitar is to learn how to read guitar tabs.
