If you are looking to buy your first guitar this post will guide you gently in the direction of the Squier Bullet – the bottom of the range Strat but a good guitar all the same. Stratocasters made under the Squier brand name are manufactured in Korea, China or Indonesia. This is a good guitar for a beginner, and you probably won’t need to buy another guitar for quite some time if you can’t afford to be spending big on guitars. For the learning guitar player on a tight budget is the “Bullet” model. Next model up is the “Affinity” and the top of the Squier range is the “Standard”.
The hardware on the Squier Bullet is low grade compared to the guitars higher up the quality chain, so you will need to look after these parts, but you will still be getting a “real” guitar that will do your music justice as your technique matures.
